The figures identified include: General Shafter, General Castile, General Wheeler, General Kent, General Miles, and General Garcia.
Period Paper is pleased to offer an outstanding collection of original historical black and white print illustrations of the Spanish-American War that were published in 1900. Following the sinking of the Battleship Maine in Havana harbor on February 15, 1898, the United States declared war on Spain on April 25, 1898. The war ended on December 10, 1898 with the signing of the Treaty of Paris resulting in Spain losing Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Guam and other islands in its overseas empire. Some of these prints are printed on heavier stock with no printing on the reverse, while others are on regular stock and may have text on the reverse. Although the condition of each print varies, this collection will be of interest to the serious history collector.

This 111+ year old Item is rated Very Fine / Fine. Light aging in margins. No creases. Some light surface rub. No tears. No water damage. There is a small blemish in the right margin--please see image. Please note that there is printing on the reverse.
